Description

Since a few days one of the Moving Islands stays close to Mount Luplea instead of floating across the whole world of Exordia. It`s a pretty large Island that slowly floats around the Mountain in circles – one whole circle during daytime and one whole circle during nighttime. While it`s floating over a certain area, a magic circle appears at the ground right under the Moving Island – a magic circle, that allows those who are talented in any kind of magic to reach the Island without the need to fly or anything else.

Once a magician steps into the magic circle, he or she is moved to the middle of the Island, where a large forest grows...and in the middle of the forest, right there, where the magic circle teleports a magician is a group of unusual, large trees – trees like towers, where the light shines out of doors and windows in the trunks.
This is the School of Magic! Built to help magician train their talents!

The School is run by Archmage Xiberia. A female Ifrix magician who seems to be very talented in magic – even though noone knows what kind of magic she is talented in and she doesn`t want to be tested. Master Xiberia lives in a seperated tree – the largest one, that is located in the middle of the group of tree towers. She rarely shows herself to teachers and students of The School of Magic.

Besides Master Xiberia, the Archmage, six other Masters live in The School of Magic. These Masters are teachers for students that like to train their own magic skills. They are able to give advices, if you are looking for some or if you need a sparring/fighting partner, just ask one of the Masters... or if they are in a fight already you may like to watch and learn...

You may leave a comment to approach one of the Masters. You may not approach Xiberia though. Make sure you read through the information on the Master you want to approach carefully. The information tells you, where the Master is (if he`s around at all, if he`s availiable/sleeping etc.). If a Master is sleeping for example, you may still approach him/her – but it`s no good manner to do so. If the info says, that the Master isn`t availiable at all, then you aren`t able to approach him.
Concerning the good manners: Usually it`s expected, that you bring something for a Master if approaching him – a little gift to show your adoration/respects. But some Masters aren`t mad with you, if you don`t gift them something. It really depends on the personality of the Master you try to approach.
You can approach a Master just to talk to him/her, ask for advice etc. but you may also ask him for a training fight (usually). Interacting with a Master in any way may or may not give a magician training in his/her several skills. Fighting with a Master though will train the magic skills for sure. Anyway, every adive given by a Master might help a magician to find out how to train properly, what to do next etc.
If a Master is in a fight, you may tell, that you want to watch the fight (you`ll get a link to the comments of the fight then). Watching a fight may also give you a boost in training (especially in technique).

Besides approaching the Masters, you may decide to stay at the School of Magic to meditate or do several other stuff.
You may even fight with other students around here.
Anyway, every day you stay at the School of Magic (without approaching a Master directly) has a small fee you have to pay. There is way too less space to let all students study here that may want to.
(This means even if you are broke, you may still approach a Master if one is availiable and if the conversation/fight/whatever with him/her takes longer than a day, he/she will pay the fee for you.)

:star: Meditation: :star:

You may meditate at the School of Magic. Meditation is a good way to learn how to concentrate on your own, without approaching a Master. This method of learning might be the right way for you, if all Masters are busy, you don`t want to approach a Master, find noone to train with or just like to spend some time on your own.
Meditation can take days. While meditating a magician usually doesn`t eat or drink, but meditation can be interrupted for such matter.
Meditation will help you to increase your Spiritual Points.

:star: Studying and practicing: :star:

The School of Magic holds a lot of books to study the theory of magic. Of course you may ask the Masters for advice, but sometimes it might be time to study on your own. Maybe you don`t have a certain question, maybe you just don`t want to approach one of the Master or all of them are busy. Then you may use the massive pile of books found in the shelves everywhere around the School of Magic. And there are special rooms where you may practice what you read too.
Studying and practicing may help to learn certain spells (but it needs a lot of time and training and sometimes you may find out, that you should seek the help of one of the Masters).

If you want to stay longer at this place / don`t want to approach a Master / want to study on your own etc. you may get a room in one of the Tree Towers of The School of Magic. At the moment there are 10 rooms availiable. Please remember 1 Crystal / Day!
At the moment only 2 magicians per pack may stay at The School of Magic to give the same chance to everyone. Please note down, what the magician(s) of your pack will do around here (if he/she will meditate/study/whatever). You may even become very specific (like: looking for a certain spell in the books etc.).
Crystals are payed in advance! Please also tell how many days your magician wants to stay!

Gender: Male
Species: Nerox
Gaudron is a pretty old Nerox, who has seen much in his life. He followed Xiberia`s call long ago and it is said, that both share a long friendship. Anyway, they don`t seem to spend much time together at The School of Magic...only sometimes, when you aren`t able to find Gaudron at all, you can be sure, that he`s around the Central Tower, where Xiberia lives.
Some even say both magicians share a true bound together – a bound of love – but that is, of course, just a rumour.
Gaudron is a very wise and calm Nerox. He has a great connection to nature and the world of Exordia. He does like students a lot and loves to share his wisdom and knowledge. He also likes to discuss about several things and is delighted by good conversations.
Due to his age he isn`t the strongest anymore. Forbear with him, if he isn`t in the right condition for a fight or if he wants to take a rest instead of having a good conversation sometimes...

Gender: Male
Species: Ventrian
Arabron is a very strange Ventrian. He has always been an outlaw, never had a hunting group. Anyway, he learned to stay on his own, learned to hunt on his own, live on his own. When Xiberia`s call reached him, he wasn`t sure whether he should follow or not. He finally decided to follow the call, but it was a hard time to integrate him in a life at one and the same place – together with others, even of other species. He sometimes just needs some time on his own and therefore leaves The School of Magic to travel on his own for a certain time.
If any students approach him, he usually seems a little stiff and can be rather aggressive – but that usually isn`t meant „evil“, Arabron is just overextended most of the times.

Gender: Female
Species: Heroc
Shandria is full of energy. The young adult Heroc followed Xiberia`s call because she always seems to be interested in new experiences and exercises. She seems to be always happy, floating around in the giant, water-filled leaves that grow on and around the tree where she lives at The School of Magic. When you see her, you wouldn`t think she`s talented in Ice Magic, as she really doesn`t seem to be „cold“ at all.
It`s said that Shandria`s students become creative and motivated, just when they get into contact with her. If you want to try out new stuff, if you want to experiment, Shandria might be the right teacher for you.

Pheroné is the youngest of the magicians, that live at The School of Magic. He is still of puppy age, but is a very talented and high-leveled magician. He lost his family at young age and Xiberia`s call gave him the opportunity to find a new family. He`s very happy about having a new family at The School of Magic and tends to see the good in everyone around (even the black magicians).
Pheroné is rather looking for playpartners and friends instead of students – anyway, this perspective offers a lot of new chances for students to learn from him. Pheroné`s worst habit is, that he never seems to stay at one place. He usually tends to move around while talking with you, circling around you like a predator – but that is not meant to be irritating, he is just full of energy and impatience.

Gender: Male
Species: Nerox
Belphegor is one of the younger magicians of The School of Magic. The Nerox came there by Master Xiberia`s call, who saw his talent and wanted him to be under control rather than letting him train on himself.
Belphegor is not a nice person. He rather likes to stay on his own than taking students. Usually he seems harsh, evil and cold and doesn`t care of hurting others – mentally and physically. You should be careful if you want to approach him, meat him in the area of The School of Magic or ask him for any advice.

:bulletwhite: Name: Master Lydia
Gender: Female
Species: Puco
Lydia is a very shy and quiet person. Being a Puco she is quite different from other Masters of The School of Magic. She doesn`t like to fight and usually just shares her wisdom and knowledge with students. On the other hand she can often be found watching the fights of others – not because she likes to see the cruelty, but because she wants to make sure noone gets hurt.
Lydia followed Xiberia`s call, because she believes in the Archmage`s capability to bring magicians of very different kinds together. She also wants to make sure, that The School of Magic works properly for all who come here to seek training, knowledge and power and stays neutral. She might be a white mage, but she is not completely against black magic. She believes in the balance of powers – both is important: White and black magic.

:star: Fighting Areas:

There are several different areas at the Flying Island where the School of Magic is located at. The areas are created especially to train how to fight with different types of magic. If you challenge one of the Masters to a sparring fight, he/she will choose one of these Fighting Areas.
Every Fighting Area can be reached from the School of Magic by magic circles, so there is no need to walk or anything.
You may also use the Fighting Areas to fight with other students. But only one fight in a certain area is allowed, otherwise it would become way too dangerous. So if a fight is running in one Fighting Area you have to wait to approach the area yourself (but fights with more than two opponents are allowed as long as they join the Fighting Area together and leave it together). Anyway, as long as a fight is running in a certain area, you may move there just to watch the fight.

:bulletred: The Cauldron

The Cauldron is an area of Volcanic activity. The ground is dry and dark, full of ash. There are no plants growing around here, but several rocks and splinters cover the ground. The air is full of ash and dust and it can be hard to breathe. From time to time there are fountains of boiling water or hot steam erupting out of wholes in the ground. At some places the ground is broken and the holes are filled with boiling water or even magma.
The area is completely flat, only a very few hills are around. Not many places to hide.

:bulletgreen: The Paradise

The Paradise is basically the name of the large forest, where the School of Magic is located in. The ground of this area is flat, but very fertile. Several plants are growing here, large trees, thornes, bushes, flowers and much more. Some stones and rocks are lieing around at some places too.
There are many places to hide around here.

:bulletblue: The Mirror

The Mirror is an area full of water. Large lakes fill almost every centimeter of the ground with water – they are only seperated by small islands from time to time. The water is usually cold, but not icy. There are water plants, fishes and corals in the lakes and the ground of the lakes is filled with smaller and bigger stones that got washed off the ground when the lakes were filled with water. The area is flat, only in the middle there is a large white coral reef, pointing like a tower into the sky. If the sun shines at the Coral Tower from the right angel, it seems as if the white coral are glowing in intense light, that may even blind someone, who is looking at it, for a short time.

:bulletyellow: The Temple of Sun

The Temple of Sun is a desert area without any plants. There aren`t even small bushes or flowers. Instead the area is filled with fine, ocher sand, that builds out flat dunes and sand drifts. During daytime this area gets really hot, hard to breathe because of the finde dust and hot air and during nighttime this area gets very cold, almost freezing.
There are not many places to hide around here and to dig yourself in the sand might not be a good idea too, as the holes fill up with finde sand pretty fast and the sand may literally drown you.

:bulletblack: The Dark Waters

The Dark Waters is the name of a swamp area at the Moving Island where the School of Magic is located at. Musty water fills the ground around here and you can`t see, whether it`s deep or flat. You need to be careful when you walk around here, because The Dark Waters might easily swallow you. There are crippled, small bushes growing around here and even some bigger trees, but these seem to be ill too. At some places there are toxic gases coming out of the ground – so if it smells bad you should better not stay too long.

Tradic fav.me/d2q50n7 tentatively walks into the magic school and seeks out Master Gaudron for training. "Hello," he greats, "I was wondering if you were open to training a new student?"
